About The Nest

At The Nest Nursery and Preschool in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, our aims and values are designed to provide children with skills for life, developing their confidence, and preparing them to take on the world ahead.

We believe that children learn most effectively through 'hands-on' experiences. The environments are set out to encourage children to be independent learners, making their own choices and decisions during play. The resources are mainly 'real' or natural objects, rather than plastic toys, we believe this encourages children to engage in open-ended play.
